Pocco X3 NFC review

The POCO X3 and POCO X3 NFC are Android-based smartphones developed by Xiaomi, announced on 7 and 22 September 2020.

¤The display: The phone has a good IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution and an awesome 120Hz refresh rate...Overall it's a good screen with good viewing angles and colors we give it 8/10, why because we wished that the screen is OLED but it all for the good price.

  • 450 nits brightness
  • HDR and wide color gamut support

¤the Hardware: Performance is great, too. The first phone we’ve reviewed with the powerful mid-range Qualcomm 732G processor – which was announced only a month ago – the Poco X3 NFC’s speeds are unmatched.

In the Geekbench 5 CPU benchmark, the Poco scored 570 in the single-core test and 1,798 in multi-core processing. By comparison, our current budget favorite, the MediaTek Helio G85-powered Redmi Note 9, is roughly 40% lower in the same benchmark, and it’s a similar story with the Moto G9 Play and Samsung Galaxy M31.

What does this mean in day-to-day use? Well, the Poco X3 NFC is blisteringly fast, zipping around at breakneck speed, launching apps in the blink of an eye, and booting up in mere seconds. It’s astonishing how powerful this phone is, with performance akin to a handset that costs twice the price. we give it 9/10

¤cameras:

The Poco X3 NFC features a quad-camera on its back that has been quite common across Xiaomi's Redmi series. It has a 64MP primary snapper, a 13MP ultrawide shooter, followed by a 2MP macro cam, and a 2MP depth sensor.

Poco X3 NFC review

The Poco X3 NFC packs a 64MP primary camera with Sony IMX 682 Quad-Bayer sensor with an f/1.9 lens, 0.8µm pixels, and PDAF. This is the only camera that supports Night Mode.

The second is a 13MP snapper with a 13mm f/2.2 lens and 1.0µm pixels.

The macro camera is 2MP with f/2.4 aperture, 1.75µm pixels, but lacks autofocus. Finally, there is a 2MP depth sensor.

The selfie camera has a 20MP sensor behind an f/2.2 lens. The focus is fixed.

The default camera app is a typical MIUI affair - switching between modes is done by swiping left and right, and all available modes but Macro are on this Rolodex. The zoom shortcut on the viewfinder switches between ultrawide, regular 1x, and 2x zoom (digital).

On the opposite end of the viewfinder, you have a flash mode switch, an HDR switch, an AI toggle, Google Lens, and a magic wand with beauty effects and filters. Behind a hamburger menu, you'll find some more options, including the Macro mode, plus the shortcut to the settings. What you won't find is an option to set the output resolution for any of the cameras.

The Pro mode works with the normal camera, the ultra-wide, and the macro. Manual 64MP pictures are also an option. For the main camera, you can use up to 30s shutter speed and ISO up to 6400. For the ultrawide, the slowest shutter speed goes down to 30s, while for the macro - it's 1/4s. we give it 7/10

overall: The phone is good the sound experience is good the final score for the phone is 7,7/10
